Since its construction the Castle of Etelan was a private property where only some rare privileged was likely to penetrate. The family buys the field in February 1975 with an only aim of restoring and of saving the Castle. Since, thanks to their eagerness and their enthusiasm: roofs, grounds, woodworks, are restored. Today to help and finance its restoration, the Castle is opened with the public, of the receptions and of the demonstrations are organized all the year. The Castle of Etelan with Saint-Maurice-In Etelan is a place privileged for your receptions. It is with an immense pleasure that we will accomodate you there to allow you to discover this superb Château built at the dawn of the XIV° century. Classified Historic building, it is the single architectural example of the Rebirth Norman of which it is the perfect symbol.
